The Lapidary Club was started in 1966 with 40 members. It currently averages 170 members ranging in age from 55 to over 90. Members of the Club work with rocks, stones and gems (lapidary), various metals, fused and stained glass, and beading. Some of us are experienced artists, while many are simply exploring and enjoying a new hobby or hobbies.
Join us! All skill levels are welcome. Whether you are an experienced artist or a beginner, we welcome and encourage you to become involved with the Lapidary Club. We are all here to enjoy our craft and make new friends.
Studio Location and Hours
Gateway, Peacock Plaza, just outside of Peacock Hall
Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday
Lapidary and Jewelry Sales
Hand-crafted items are displayed in the front window of the Lapidary Studio and in the display cabinets inside the studio. The pieces are wonderful as gifts for all occasions, or as something special for yourself. Be sure to come by and see these beautiful items for sale at the Lapidary Studio during the hours listed above. A Lapidary Club supervisor will be happy to assist you with the purchase.
